I’ve never made bacon in the oven. Is it better that way? Less messy?
Yeah; you put a rack in a cookie sheet and then bake at 400º for about 20′.
It drains into the cookie sheet, which I then empty into a grease container. Keeps the bacon a bit less oily and is pretty easy to clean up if you get to cleaning the sheet right away.
It’s also a lot easier to make a lot of bacon and the spatter is automatically contained.
