This is my father’s baseball glove. It is faded and marked with years of use. Many people would have long since trashed it or moved to a newer one.

But I’m pretty sure it’s the glove he used to teach me how to catch a ball. And now, it’s the glove I use to teach my son how to catch a ball.

I’ll use it until the laces fall off.
