For some reason, in the past 24 hours or so, I’ve had more search hits on the term “confirmation@apple.com” or “confirmation@apple.com email” than I’ve seen for any search result that’s ever hit this site in the months I’ve been tracking.

The iMacs are coming!
Apple cut the smallest display out of the product loop, redesigned the enclosure in aluminum and glass - which may be part of their new environmental initiatives, and added a glossy display, new keyboard and a few smaller features to the iMac lienup today. Looks nice. Notice one thing, though:

John Siracusa’s annual WWDC bingo card for the year has been posted, and I’ve already got mine printed and ready to go while I keep up with the live feed at work on Monday.
In case you’re unfamiliar, this has become a tradition in the last few years with the Mac faithful. We dream about the [...]

From John Gruber’s Daring Fireball blog:
The iPod Juggernaut
A very insightful look at the portable music player market and Apple’s stranglehold thereof. He’s right on all points, of course: as an iPod owner and user and general Apple evangelist in my geek life, I’ve heard many of the arguments against the iPod, and this pretty [...]

From Daring Fireball:
There’s a line in The Usual Suspects where Kevin Spacey’s character Verbal Kint says, “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.â€

…but of course, you already knew that.
Bill Gates was fortunate enough to have been interviewed by Peter Jennings (another one of my more favorite people) a night or two ago, and one of the things brought up was the report from last week that the iPod is ubiquitous on the Microsoft campus in Redmond - [...]

And I am so busy playing with my 40GB iPod that I haven’t had the time to do much else other than study and get homework done.
So, I will get back to this after Friday is over and the last paper has been completed and turned in.
That is all.

For any of you who have ever been wondering why I’m such an Apple evangelist, pay attention to The Steve:
“We live in an era where more and more of our activities depend on technology. We take our photos without film and have to do something with them to make them usable. We get our music [...]

Daring Fireball: Magic 8-Ball Answers Your Questions Regarding the ‘Napster To Go’ Subscription Service
You should read this article if you at all wondered what the crap Napster was up to with their Super Bowl commercials. I always knew something was off from their advertising campaign, but I didn’t really know until someone pointed out [...]

I’ll get some pictures up in the near future (my wife confiscated the point and shoot digital yesterday), but my 17″ Powerbook G4 took a bit of a spill last week.
The little rubber feet on the bottom of the case - you know, the things that are supposed to stop it from sliding off a [...]
