I might be taking back the Samsung HD received in the near future - I have been reading some rather unflattering things about it and would like to look into another model made by LG.
It’s a combo DVD player and HD receiver, which is an interesting idea. It also has a pass-through for NTSC broadcasts, which the Samsung does NOT have.
It will be hard to live without it for a little while, but I would like to see if I can move up to the LG in the near future. It’s not listed on the Best Buy website - well, it is, but it’s only available in store and not on the web, so I’ll have to see if they have it in stock locally.
