1512 hours, 16 July-
Amanda and I are at the hospital right now, and they are attempting to induce her to delivery with baby #2. It’s been an interesting wait, to say the least - we got here at 6 a.m., and have just passed the nine-hour mark.
The doctor said he would be here at 1 p.m., but still hasn’t showed. They’re going to page him at the next opportunity.
Amanda is on a constant fetal monitor, and they check her blood pressure every 30 minutes. Her contractions are 2 min. or so apart, and we still don’t know how close she is to delivery. We could be waiting for the next three or six hours, or we could be here well into tomorrow.
I don’t know how the timestamps are going to show when I upload these to the blog, and I also don’t know if I can save more than one draft with ecto, but I am going to try. So, at the beginning on each post, I’ll add a bit of a timecode so, when you read back through these entries, you have some kind of frame of reference.
Keep an eye out for future entries in the series.
