Blizzard has saved me three applications that I would otherwise have had to buy a second time to install on my Mac:
Starcraft, Diablo II, an d Warcraft III all came on hybrid CD-ROMs - Mac versions included. And Blizzard even re-wrote the actual game applications for the games they made pre-OS X in a Carbonized version - sweet new icons and all. It’s pretty liberating to know that those purchases were well worth it, even after I’ve gone back to the Macintosh platform. And World of Warcraft is going to be released simultaneously for the Mac and PC - guess which MMORPG I’m planning on playing in the future?
It’s always nice to see some companies actually caring about the Mac platform and its userbase - a group that is, as far as I can tell, growing quite well in recent months (maybe even the past year or so).
I know I appreciate it.
