After a rather lengthy process and an attempt at calling an associate to fill a vacancy that has been hanging over people here at Faith for over two years, Reverend Peter Hoft of Good Shepherd in Collinsville, Illinois has decided to decline the call this congregation had issued him.
Fast rejection - the call was issued just a couple of weeks ago.
A lot of people were very excited by this prospect, and this is going to be a bit of an arrow here - but they haven’t had a call rejected in at least a very long time - I think this will be good for them in the long run.
