The post-Christmas gift report.

Every year, I do a quick breakdown of what people gave me for Christmas, and so I’m going to do so very quickly right now (very quickly, because I need to get back to family time soon).

The congregation here at Faith was entirely too generous, getting me all sorts of stuff and giving me cash (!!) presents, which I didn’t really expect at all, but it was entirely welcome from everyone. I have thank-yous to write out the wazoo, but that’ll get done ASAP, as I don’t like leaving people in the lurch when it comes to thanking them for being generous and gifting me with whatever they thought was fair (which, in many cases, I didn’t!).

But the take from family Christmas was way too good for who I am - although this also includes my birthday. I get a sweater and a nice flannel shirt (it’s actually kinda dressy) for clothes, and a copy of The Machine Crusade on the literary front. But, as always at times like this, it was in electronic entertainment where Christmas was a big event - DVDs of the Indiana Jones series, the first season of ER, Finding Nemo, X2, and the Looney Tunes Golden Collection were very welcome gifts - though I don’t know when I’m going to get around to watching everything. And on the video game front, I got copies of Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Mario Brothers 3, and Kingdom Hearts (about which I have already written).

Anyway, we took a boatload of pictures, so I will hopefully be able to throw some of those up in the near future. I’ll have to throw up gaming posts about what I’m ripping through at any given point in time, as well - I always think that’s worth my friends’ knowledge.

And I’m getting my (finally) Two Towers EE and the fourth season of Babylon 5 for my birthday (yay!).
