I really need to create a category for Galaxies-related posts. I do.
Two things for those who like to know what I’m up to in the int4rw3b:
First, my SWG character is about to go profession-hopping; I’m not bothering looking for Holocrons (I’d explain to you if I had the time right now), and so I’m going to head off the FSCS system at the pass by starting to try and complete as many professions as possible. It’s going to take forever - maybe even a year of real-time at the rate I manage to get playing time, but it’s going to be worth it if I ever open up the durn FSCS and get to try my hand at raising up a Jed-diddly-i. I thought I didn’t care about it so much, but it looks hella neat and I don’t like being left out of anything cool. Plus, the TAC guys would be jealous.
Second, I’m considering trying (with my wife’s help, no less!) writing up a guide for Alias, which is one of my current favorite television shows - something like the venerable (and, IMHO the definite way to write a guide for a TV series) Lurker’s Guide to Babylon 5, which I’ve always admired for its completeness and throughness. I think Alias lends itself to this method of scrutiny and collaborative episode-guide-style web site, and so I think I’m going to try my hand at writing something like that up. Since we managed to swing the first season on DVD and have finally gotten to watch it (I missed a good portion of it), Amanda and I have a new appreciation for how wicked cool the show really is.
And besides, Marshall’s my own personal hero.
